I spent a couple
weeks getting the upper deck seats painted so I can start working on the upper roof. I've been planning this task for a long
time and I'm anxious to see how it's going to look.

Now begins the building and installation of roof and rafters, seven down and 98 to go. Frieze will be fixed in place permanently
as the support strucure under the roof is painted.

I put these next two shots together, the first from a
few weeks ago, to illustrate what a difference the addition of the roof makes. The way it was, with the frieze hanging out
there barely supported, looks kind of silly to me now.

I'm hoping to have the upper roof done before the end of April

...and after 7 weeks- there's a roof!
