The summer was spent
building and installing seating, so there wasn't a need for many new pictures during this period. The one significant thing
I worked on besides the seats was the back bleacher wall. Photos of that wall under the elevated subway line are scarce and
it took a lot of searching and some help from friends to finally put all the pieces of that puzzle together. The photos
on this page range from the beginning of July to the last day of August. Although it doesn't look it in the pictures, those
short sections of frieze are about 130 pieces and the long sections over 250 parts each,. It takes 5-6 hours of
work time per section, not counting drying time in between steps. I'd always get a real sense of accomplishment everytime
I could call another finished and hang it up there. They'll be reset and leveled when the rafters and roof go in.
